A good door-to-door sales script has four parts: a 10-second opener, one qualifying question, a short value statement tied to what the homeowner just said, and a direct close. Below is the fiber internet version, plus answers to the objections you will hear most.
“Hey, I’m [name] with [company]. We’re out on your street because fiber internet just became available here. Quick question: who do you have for internet right now?”
Say where you are from, why you are on their street, then ask. Do not start with “how are you today.”
“And how is it? Are you getting the speed you pay for?”
Let them talk. You are listening for price, speed, reliability or customer service complaints. That is what you pitch to.
“That’s exactly why people on this street are switching. Fiber runs to the house, so the speed you pay for is the speed you get, upload and download. Let me check what your address qualifies for.”
Tie it to their words. If they said price, lead with price. If they said buffering, lead with speed.
“You qualify. The earliest install slot is [date]. Want me to lock that in for you?”
Assume the yes. Then confirm the install date and what happens next, because in fiber you only get paid when the install activates.
Reading it word for word. The script is a structure, not a speech. Learn the four parts, then sound like yourself. Practice it out loud until the opener takes under 10 seconds.

Run your own numbers on the pay calculator. These are per-sale rates, not an earnings promise.
Who you are, why you are on their street, and a question about what they have now. Keep it under 10 seconds, then listen.
“Hi, I’m [name] with [company]. We’re out on your street because [offer] just became available here. Quick question: who do you have for [service] now?”
The opener should be under 10 seconds. A full fiber pitch, from knock to close, is usually a few minutes.
Learn the four parts, not every word. Reps who sound scripted close less.
Yes. New reps are trained on the fiber pitch and paired with an active rep in the field.
